Modern Hillside Villa

Designing in a hilly context means transforming the limitations of the slope into expressive opportunities. This private villa, located in a panoramic area of the province of Turin, stems from a rigorous study of the plot: the result is a dynamic architecture composed of volumes that interlock at different heights, following the orography of the terrain.

The material choice is a tribute to the surrounding nature, reinterpreted in a contemporary key. The warmth of wood-effect ceramic alternates with the material strength of split stone, creating an envelope that does not impact the landscape but constantly dialogues with it. Each facade has been studied to offer a different perception of the building, making it a sculptural element perfectly integrated into the hilly greenery.

In this project, light architecture plays a leading role. Thanks to the use of three-dimensional simulation software, we designed the aesthetics of the villa for the entire 24-hour cycle. During the night, the strategic insertion of LED strips highlights the geometries and volumes, transforming the structure into a luminous icon that emphasizes the architectural identity even in the dark hours, ensuring unparalleled scenic impact.
