Design Pizzeria "da Turel"

The interior design project for the "da Turel" pizzeria, located in Savigliano (Cuneo), stems from a deep dialogue with the client. Through a careful preliminary briefing, the owner's emotions, passions, and ideas were internalized by the studio and translated into a unique spatial concept, which also included the personalized study of the company logo.

The proposed style is a contemporary reinterpretation of country. The atmosphere of the venue is deliberately warm, welcoming, and familiar, a result achieved through the skillful use of natural materials and authentic textures. Wood dominates the space, used in the flooring, ceiling recesses, and elegant boiseries that cover the bar counter and perimeter walls. Exposed brick provides a material counterpoint, finding its maximum expression in the custom-made pizza oven—a true protagonist of the entrance area—and then extending onto the neighboring walls, giving character and historical depth to the environment.

The rustic feel is further emphasized by the curated display of wine bottles and typical objects on dedicated wooden shelves, creating visually striking scenarios. Contemporary design details elevate the venue's aesthetic: from backlighting designed to enhance volumes and the wall logo, to the furnishings. A prominent element is the seating: the "Allegra" chair, specifically designed by the studio and presented at the prestigious Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2018, combines ergonomics, aesthetics, and uniqueness.
