Japandi Style Interior Design

The interior design project for this house fully embraces the philosophy of contemporary Japandi style, a design approach intimately linked to the concept of "essential". The main goal was to create tidy, airy, and bright environments, rigorously defined by simple and linear forms.

This refined fusion between Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics is primarily expressed through a careful material selection. Natural wood, in its lightest essences, dominates the space, bringing warmth to the flooring, furnishings, and elegant vertical slatted details that define passages and the kitchen island. In perfect balance, clean lacquers, present in the living room storage units, and black metal details, which add a touch of graphic modernity to the shelves and lighting fixtures, are combined with it.

To complete the warm and welcoming atmosphere, carefully selected coverings are introduced to bring out a strong textile materiality. From the soft-lined sofa to the large natural rug, and the upholstered seats in the dining area and stools, every tactile element contributes to creating an oasis of residential serenity, bathed in light from the large windows.
